Have you ever had that feeling when you're looking to adopt a pet and instantly know which one you want to take home with you? I have and I named him Beau.
My name is Ashley K and I am the founder and owner of Humane & Hungry, LLC. I am the sole operator and member of H&H. I've had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I believe in protecting them, loving them, and feeding them foods that will nourish their bodies.
My goal is to pour my passion into creating not only just dog treats, but a Humane & Hungry community of animal lovers to go along with them. I want to share data and information about pet care, I want to provide healthier allergy-friendly dog treats for your fur babies, I want to give back to rescues and shelters, and I want to dedicate my time making an impact in animal lives.
H&H strives to team up with animal rescues, shelters, sanctuaries, veterinarian clinics, and veterinarians to offer assistance to animals in need.
Each treat product we sell includes the story of a real pet that made a real impact.

Our treats are more than just treats, they have a story. Each flavor of treat is associated with a real dog that made an impact and their real story is printed right on the bag.
Sharing the stories of our beloved pups is what brings us all together. Every pup has a story and every story has love, happiness, and lessons.
Over time, we would love to expand our treats to other animals and the more support Humane & Hungry receives, the quicker we can get there. We want to tell the stories of all kinds of pets. Animals deserve the best, so let's share their stories and let's make an impact.
Our Promise to You
We vow to be transparent & consistent. Our dog treats are locally made in the Houston, Texas area. We vow to make our treats with better ingredients. We will never cut corners in making our products.
Our treats are Texas made and they contain no animal protein allergens, which is perfect for those with common meat allergies and sensitive tummies.
Not only are our treats baked in Texas, but even our product packaging is too! You can rest-assured that we are fully Texas made!
